Feeding landscape

2015
The Landscape Masters in this year focused on the agrarian landscape as a necessary evolution of the natural one. The agricultural operations carried out by man shape and design the territory according to different crops and climate. Changing plots of pieces of earth and colors, terraces, rows, pastures rich in flowers that then become hay, in the forms of sheaves or the most modern cylindrical bales left in the gold-colored fields, and more farmhouses, mills, canals, draw lines, make shapes and stretch out colors. The goal of producing food for man simultaneously becomes nourishment for the eyes and soul of those who live in the territory. A "geography of food" that in each country, and in particular in Italy where EXPO 2015 takes place, marks a fundamental trait of cultural identity.
