Mariana Siqueira

Mariana Siqueira is a Brazilian landscape architect who creates naturalistic gardens to promote the beauty and diversity of the Cerrado, the savannas of Central Brazil. Her pioneering gardens celebrate the local flora in compositions that set the unique flowers of the Cerrado in scene amongst its beautiful grasses. Through education and research activities she also promotes the urgent conservation and restoration of these landscapes, that constitute one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots.
